Shine on Greenwood Holiday Event is part of a vision created by Tulsa native Tony Mason. Tony Mason is the CEO of Mastone Music Productions/The Ambassador Project Int'l and TMMI. Tony has a proven track record of success in the area of music, whether in ministry or entertainment and his name has become synonymous with success in the music industry. Once dubbed "the man with the golden voice", by Billboard Magazine upon the release of his debut album with his family band MASON, he has been likened to some of the great voices of our time. Legendary singer Tony Orlando of Tony Orlando and Dawn compared Tony Mason to the likes of “Stevie Wonder”! Tulsa (GAP Band) lead vocalist and superstar Uncle Charlie Wilson says "Tony Mason can sing anything!"

Hailing from the Black Wallstreet community in the historic Greenwood district of Tulsa Oklahoma, this multi talented singer, songwriter, producer, musician, actor, and author has been primed and is once again bringing his musical prowess back to the forefront! Tony's list of accomplishments are many and in no way limited to these: he has written for and performed with such nationally known artists as, Charlie Wilson, New Edition, Jodeci, Tony Orlando, Wayman Tisdale, The Bar-Kays, the GAP Band, the DAZZ Band, Jonathan Butler, SWV, SOS Band, Denise Williams, Keith Sweat, Morris Day and the Time, Kirk Whaylam, Gerald Albright, Howard Hewitt, Israel Houghton, Fred Hammond, Donnie McClurkin, Smokey Norfil, and many others. Tony along with brothers Gary and Clifford (Tre) Mason formed a family trio called MASON who released their debut album "Livin on the Edge" in 1987 on Elektra Warner Brothers Records. Their LP spawned two top 40 singles. The first titled "Double Exposure" written by Tony and renowned writer and producer Kae Williams Jr of Philadelphia, landed at #38 in Billboards top 40 during the same year of release. However the songwriting duo of Mason and Williams second single "Pour it On" landed at #2 Billboard Dance in 1987!  The Group MASON consisted of Gary Mason (bass guitar), Clifford (Tre) Mason (lead-guitar) and Tony Mason (lead vocalist and guitarist). Tony has recently returned from the highest grossing R&B Concert tour of 2022 called “The Culture Tour” Featuring New Edition, Jodeci and Tulsa’s own Uncle Charlie Wilson as a background vocalist for Charlie Wilson! The 31 city tour included venues like Madison Square Garden, The Boston Gardens, and many other top arena's where Tony was able to sing solo on Charlie’s Tour with the legend himself. During the height of the COVID pandemic Tony also appeared on NBC Universal’s Season 19 edition of “The Voice”; which aired during November 2020.

Inspired mostly by the things he has seen, learned, and felt, Tony expresses his music, and experiences in many ways. His songs reach into the deepest part of human emotion, soul, and spirit, and cause you to think about every word he sings. He embraces such musical styles as: urban, R&B, hip-hop, jazz, pop, Gospel, Urban Contemporary Christian, adult contemporary, rock, metal, and country. Having compassion for global missions and welfare, Tony wrote and produced a song in support of the victims of the "Tsunami" in Indonesia entitled "There is Hope"; and has received acclaim from the citizens, and dignitaries represented there for this hope giving song. In all Tony is concerned about the human condition and hopes that his will help others reconsider life, love, and purpose!

The Ambassador Project Int’l:  

API is a 501(c)3 non-Profit organization that exists for the purpose of encouraging, inspiring, and helping young men from “father-absent-homes” learn life skills, that may not be available in a father absent home. We believe, that by divine design, there are things that only a male can teach a male. We will help with everyday matters ranging from personal hygiene, mentoring, personal worth/value, as well as advice on coping with rejection, abandonment stemming from the lack of the father in the home. We also endeavor to help those interested in learning to play guitar, and with development of their natural music skills. We will accomplish these goals through local, national, and international support and opportunities to produce seminars, and offer classes that help pursue purpose and apply practical life principles for successful living. please visit our website www.theambassadorprojectintl.org
